Civil War Prison relics....
Many of the men who were imprisoned during the Civil War found things to occupy their very idle time by such occupations as carving. One material that was available for this was bone. One part of our featured display includes some of these bone carvings brought back from such places as Andersonville and Belle Isle.
Another item in our collection is an actual piece of the Andersonville Stockade itself.
